Great location; about 40mins walk to the Cathedral via High Street and Steep Hill. About 30mins to walk back. £7.70 taxi ride. Hotel was warm. We had a room on the 4th floor, accessible by lift, and at the BACK of the hotel; it was away from the road noise (maybe if on the front of the hotel). The room was ideal for a short break; comfortable; spotlessly clean; plenty of tea, coffee and milk sachets ( and if there were not enough, just ask for more). The staff were excellent; polite, obliging and corporately dressed. Two were especially helpful (both named Emily). Breakfast was good and was buffet style; cooked or ‘cold’ and it was always being replenished (however, I did find a hair in my bacon and informed a member of staff…she did apologise). But, in fairness, this did not detract from our stay. Car parking was immediately to the rear of the hotel and easily accessible; it was discounted at £10/ day. We shall use the same hotel if we return to Lincoln for a break. Yes, we recommend this hotel.

The room was a reasonable size and was clean and comfortable, The location was good - well within walking distance of the city centre and restaurants in the Quay area if the weather is good which, unfortunately for us, it often wasn't. We ate at the Holiday Inn Express on one evening. The restaurant was reasonable. The menu is fairly basic but the service was good and it was not bad value for money. The breakfast is excellent and is included in the room rate. The B&B rate was very good value for money.. Parking is plentiful and at £8.50 for 24 hours is not bad value. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay here again.

Our room was comfortable with just about enough hangers and shelving. The desk and long drawer were a good size and very useful. The bathroom was excellent. The walk in shower with lots of grab rails made a big difference to me. The two lifts were very efficient so there was hardly any waiting time. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The car park was very handy. There was lots of choice at breakfast and there was even porridge and fruit compote. It was always busy in the dining area but the staff worked hard to keep up with demand. This hotel is excellent value for money. The towels weren't automatically changed - hooray!!

The location is not to bad in a good easy to get to area the room was very nice for the price was clean and nice bathroom. The staff there were great answered any of my questions and was polite. I used the restaurant that is in the lobby for dinner i asked what time it was open and they told me so went there for something to eat was great the food and beer was amazing bit pricey but great for what you pay for. The internet in the room was top notch no problems or drops it played YouTube on the laptop with good signal strength. Would recommend for sure.

Amazing choice for the included breakfast. Wonderful double glazing, no internal noise, very good area for eating and relaxing around restaurant and reception. Direct phone to book a taxi. Stairs and lift. Easy key cards for bedroom. Very comfortable beds, lovely mirrors around bathroom and excellent shower. Only 10 minute walk to town and railway station.
